The Ford brand has been around for decades and is a household name. More often than not, if someone were to ask you to name a couple of different trucks, chances are one of them would probably be the Ford F150. This model has become the largest and best-selling in the industry and there’s no shortage of reasons why that is. When you want a tough and dependable truck that is great on handling and load capacity, you turn to the F150, which made its debut as early as 1975. But of course, this isn’t the only truck Ford manufactures.

Ford has had a rich history of automobiles that dates from the turn of the 20th century. The very first Ford truck was built in 1900. Seventeen years later, they introduced the Model T One-Ton truck, which incorporated the very first chassis designed specifically for trucks. This was huge for the company and by 1925, the first pickup with a cargo box appeared. It also had an adjustable tailgate and heavy duty rear springs.

Model A and B were introduced in the late 1920s and early 1930s. The F-Series was born in 1948 and marked a turning point in truck production. The first factory-built F250 was offered, beginning in 1959, which had four-wheel drive. Naturally, as the needs changed over the years, the trucks did, too. Ride quality was improved with the invention of twin I-beam front suspension in 1965 and the name “Ranger” was used in describing the styling for a line of pickups. They also unveiled the first four-door version of the F250 the same year.

The 1980s saw improvement by leaps and bounds with better interior quality, better engines, and the SuperCab models. Safety was reinforced and driver’s side air bags were made standard by 1994. Over the course of this company’s history with trucks, it is apparent that the designs only get better and better. Ford drivers spend a lot of time in their vehicles. It’s only natural for Christmas decorations to be at the top of the list of must-do’s for the season. Here are some great ways to decorate your Johnson Brothers Ford car or truck for this festive time of year.

The most important part of decorating is the lights. You have a range of options from LED light strings to neon installations. Both trucks and cars will be sporting some form of Christmas cheer with lights. You can arrange a small string of lights across the top of the back window to an entire rope of lights lining the bed of your truck. Make sure to know what is safe and what’s legal. Check with your city and state before lighting up your truck or car this Christmas.

Decals make for a temporary and easy way to add some Christmas spirit to your vehicle. They are easy to apply and simply peel off when the season is over. 2014 Ford Fiesta Spotlight

Ford Fusion

The Ford Fusion has a sleek body that is longer and wider than the old compact style and gives a sportier look for those who don’t want to feel like they are driving their grandmother’s car.
