Future Trucks of Ford

If you are in the market for a new truck, but you want one of the newer trucks that are coming out, you don’t have long to wait. Johnson Brothers Ford will have several new models starting in the fall of 2016 including the 2017 Raptor, 2017 Super Duty and the 2017 Chassis Cab.

2017 Ford Raptor

If you have been drooling over the 2017 Ford Raptor, you don’t have long to wait. This new model will be available in the fall of 2016. The new model will feature a body made from high-strength military-grade aluminum alloy, which makes the Raptor about 500 pounds lighter. The Raptor features a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine backed by a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

2017 Super Duty

The 2017 Super Duty will be available in late 2016. This model was first introduced at the 2015 Texas State Fair. This model also uses high-strength military-grade aluminum alloy; and it features a fully boxed frame with through-welded cross members. Because this truck was made for extremes, it has six times more high-strength steel and is up to 24 times stiffer than other trucks. The 2017 Super Duty also has stronger axles, upgraded steering and suspension and upgraded powertrains. 2014 F-150s Must Go
